About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Master’s Level therapist or higher (PsyD/PhD) with extensive training in Comprehensive Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and a passion for clinical care, clinical quality, innovation, and training. You will support the growth of our blended care Dialectical Behavior Therapy (BC-DBT) program, which will integrate DBT group skills training, individual therapy, and digital tools, by serving as an active member of the BC-DBT Consultation Team. You will provide evidence-based DBT via live video to a full caseload of adult individual clients/week in a combination of individual therapy and groups via live video.  The BC-DBT Program will be supported by an internal care team for 24/7 coverage for clinical emergencies.
To be a good fit for this role, you will have completed advanced training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy and participated in a Comprehensive DBT Program (individual therapy, skills group, phone coaching, and consultation team). 
You will be part of a highly motivated and enthusiastic remote DBT Team with standard weekly DBT consultation team meetings and ongoing clinical support in a collaborative environment. Join us in transforming and innovating mental health care!


    • Master’s degree from a clinical track (e.g., MSW, MFT, MC) or PhD/PsyD in Clinical or Counseling Psychology
    • An unrestricted license in California (ability to work independently, without supervision from a licensed supervisor)
    • 3+ years postgraduate clinical experience
    • Excellent training and deep understanding of Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) with prior experience on a DBT Team
    • Experience and skills working with clients who present with suicidal ideation and/or self-injury
    • Background leading standardized DBT skills groups utilizing Linehan materials
    • Completion of treatment with clients through Stage I of DBT Treatment 
    • Passionate about increasing access to DBT for clients on a large scale by integrating technology into standard treatment
    • Comfortable with technology and adept at learning to use various tech tools to support treatment and enhance clinical impact 
    • Independent, open-minded, non-judgmental, compassionate and flexible
    • Have excellent interpersonal skills (communication and listening), especially over video, and a willingness to receive feedback
