Job Description

As Accounts Receivable Specialist you will be part of our growing Finance & Accounting team. You will be involved in all aspects of the AR process from when an order is closed, to payment processing, to collections and everything in between. Even though you will be based in Warsaw, you will be working in cooperation with our Finance & Accounting team based in Zürich, Switzerland.

A successful candidate is a great team player with strong communication skills, who can work independently with little supervision. A diligent attitude, ability to multitask in a fast paced environment and attention to detail is a prerequisite for this role.

What You Will Do

  • Align with members of our sales teams and customers post deal closing in order to ensure timely invoicing
  • Process invoicing prerequisites, including procuring of purchase orders, registering as a supplier, etc
  • Create invoices in accordance with complex contractual agreements
  • Communicate with customers where needed in order to clarify questions concerning invoices, payments, taxation, certificates, etc
  • Orchestrate and execute dunning procedures
  • Run reports and analysis on invoicing volumes, order backlog and overdues
  • Continually support process improvements and documentation to increase accuracy, transparency, and timeliness of the AR organization

Who You Are

  • Min. 1-2 years of experience working in an Accounts Receivable or similar accounting role
  • Highly organized, diligent, detail-oriented, well-structured
  • Able to comprehend and extract information from legal texts
  • Able to communicate with internal stakeholders and customers 
  • Sense of urgency and a good sense of when to escalate issues
  • High degree of flexibility in handling new assignments and the ability to adapt to change in the work environment
  • Strong English language skills, majority of written and spoken communication will be English
  • Knowledge of CRM (Salesforce.com) and ERP (MS Business Central) is a plus
