About Arris Composites

Arris Composites is the pioneer of next-gen composites for mass market applications, including aerospace, automotive, and consumer products.

Job Description

The Arris Additive Molding Tooling team consists of the world’s experts in tooling for use in Additive Molding production. Additive Molding Tooling Engineers leverage their knowledge of engineering fundamentals, experience in traditional tooling disciplines, and capabilities in mechanical design and problem solving to develop tools that uniquely enable Additive Molding processes. Additive Molding Tooling Engineers have extraordinary flexibility in thought and are able to invent, learn new methods and importantly, unlearn other rules that do not hold in Additive Molding.

Practically, the tooling team designs and delivers Additive Molding tools that are predictable (work as designed and are user-friendly), reliable, and meet the design intent (i.e. enable Additive Molding). The Tooling Team is expected to deliver functioning tools in the shortest possible time frame, as time-to-market is a critical criteria for Arris’ business success.

About Arris

From a team that has been instrumental in the development of leading 3D printing and advanced manufacturing technologies comes the biggest development yet. At higher strength and lower density than titanium, carbon fiber composites hold the potential to change the world by unlocking novel design architectures that deliver unparalleled performance at lighter weights. Despite this potential, the complexity and cost of designing and manufacturing these anisotropic materials has limited their use to high-end, niche applications. Arris has solved this problem and top companies in the world have taken notice. New design latitude and improved performance provides competitive advantages for leaders across the industrial and consumer markets. Your view of composites is about to change.

  • Track and drive to completion project deadlines and dependencies
  • Manage vendor deliverables
  • Plan and schedule resources

  • Create execution plans (schedule, resources, risks, milestones) to fulfill developmental and operational needs

Who You Are:

  • An organized and effective project manager
  • Meticulous, high standards and problem-solving skill
  • A natural and consistent communicator
  • Empathetic to the needs of the customer and your internal team
  • Calm under pressure; you don’t get riled by the pressures of high stakes manufacturing environments
  • Flexible for evening work to communicate with counterparts in Asia
  • BS in Engineering or related discipline

Perks Include:

  • Competitive salary with equity
  • Comprehensive health, dental, vision, life insurance, long term disability
  • Health Savings Account (HSA), Flexible Spending Account (FSA) & Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account (DCFSA)
