About the Job:
The Airbase Solutions Consultant will report to the Professional Services and Support Manager, and will work closely with the Sales and Professional Services teams to help answer more technical questions from prospects, bring confidence to prospects during the sales cycle, and ensure knowledge captured during the sales cycle is coordinated well with the onboarding resources for a seamless customer experience. The Airbase Solutions Consultant will deliver components of the implementation process for strategic customers, and work closely with the Onboarding team to ensure customers are successfully implemented.
This role will be great for you if you have technical knowledge and experience in ERP software like NetSuite, Sage Intacct, QuickBooks Online, and/or Xero; you are knowledgeable in accounting and have dealt with customers from the accounting team (CFOs, Finance Directors, Controllers, etc.); and you have a knack of helping prospects and customers alike improve their business processes.

What you'll do:

    • Learn and understand the Airbase product at a deeper level. As Airbase is an accounting software, it is expected that the candidate understands the intricacies of how the product solves accounts payable and expense management issues.
    • Provide guidance to the Sales team on handling technical questions from customers.
    • Join sales calls, as needed, for prospects in the later stages of the sales process.
    • Liaise with the Product team for common gaps encountered during the sales cycle, especially if these highly impact the deal.
    • Summarize and collate information captured during the sales cycle, and ensure the resources who will be responsible for onboarding the customer are briefed well with the necessary information for a successful customer experience.
    • Document and outline customers’ business process requirements captured from the sales process whenever possible, and share that with the Professional Services team.
    • Own and manage the implementation for strategic customers to provide consistent contact from the sales cycle until successful implementation of Airbase.
    • Understand the customers’ business needs and challenges.
    • Align the customers’ needs and challenges with how Airbase adds value to the business.
    • Ensure customers are onboarded successfully and are on track to having a positive experience with the Airbase spend management platform.
    • Capture the customers’ product feedback.
    • Troubleshoot and ensure resolution of any issues experienced by the customers.
    • Work with Sales, Customer Success, Product, and Engineering teams to ensure quick turnaround and provide quality service to Airbase customers.

What we're looking for:

    • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, or related field.
    • At least 5 years of combined experience in both business process improvements (providing solution proposals to businesses, or auditing business processes), and NetSuite or Sage Intacct ERP implementation.
    • Knowledge and experience in the Procure-to-Pay and General Ledger business processes, and in ERP and accounting systems.
    • Familiarity with engaging directly with customers and potentially working with sales teams.
    • Confident and can effectively communicate both in oral and written English.
    • Excellent problem solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills.
    • Quick-learning self-starter who has great attention to detail, able to multitask, and is highly motivated to provide customer satisfaction.
    • Experience in QuickBooks Online or Xero (on top of NetSuite or Sage Intacct) is an advantage.
This role requires the ability to work during the PT working hours as the customers we are working with are largely based in the Pacific (PT) and Eastern (ET) time zones.
