This is a remote role so candidates can be located anywhere in the United States.

 

Role and Expectations

  • Our Sales Engineer will become a Catalytic expert by learning the product capabilities through regularly engaging with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Customer Success resources
  • Work across cross functional teams and be the go-to SME (Subject Matter Expert) on Catalytic for the GTM motion
  • Be the bridge between Product/Engineering and the Sales/Marketing teams
  • Work with Product and Engineering to identify opportunities for product improvement based on sales feedback and competitive intelligence
  • Knowledgeable of the automation landscape 

Support the Sales team by:

  • Delivering packaged demos and well as building and delivering tailored demos
  • Leading customer trials of Catalytic by being the Trial Coach
  • Leading RFP responses with sales team assistance
  • Responding to technical questions and acting as the technical expert
  • Assisting with business case development for prospects and customers 

Understand common enterprise technology environments, including: 

  • Authentication
  • Single-sign on
  • System integrations
  • Firewalls

Support Marketing by:

  • Providing consistent feedback on product market fit and messaging
  • Attending conferences (virtual and in-person) 
  • Creating and delivering presentations and webinars as a Catalytic SME

Support Customer Success by:

  • Providing prospect/customer background
  • Performing preliminary scoping of new projects
  • Complete Customer Onboarding process to enable new customers and Customer Success team

Travel:

  • Travel as needed to customer sites and conferences
