The Vice President of Product will lead the development and execution of the PerformLine product roadmap, they will be responsible for defining strategy and execution of projects related to improving PerformLine’s product portfolio. This role requires the ability to listen to the stakeholders of the business, understand the direction of the company is moving in and synthesize the information into scalable product enhancements. The successful candidate will possess an understanding of the SaaS platform and business model, using that knowledge to drive the roadmap in ways that will encourage user engagement and growth.


  • Think Big:  Unconstrained by the resources available, he or she will find game changing/ disruptive opportunities, and develop concrete plans for how to take advantage of them
  • Prioritize:  Select a balance between quick wins and long-term investments in the products
  • Execute:  Do whatever is necessary to “ship”
  • Lead: Create and implement centralized product processes and feedback loops with internal stakeholders and clients
  • Ensure the product management lifecycle is repeatable and scalable
  • Collaborate with counterparts in client success, design, engineering, and analytics to develop the best user experience
  • Track and communicate all aspects product development to the stakeholders
  • Set clear goals, timelines, and expectations for delivery
  • Train internal teams on new product features and enhancements
  • Become an expert on up-and-coming technologies that create new opportunities
  • Conduct client development to validate assumptions and analysis to verify an addressable market
  • Contribute to software development lifecycle from requirements gathering through post-production support
  • Provide guidance for system design and function for enterprise initiatives


  • Heavy experience in growing SaaS startups breaking into new markets with new product solutions
  • Comfortable reporting directly to a Founder and CEO because you've done that several times before
  • Proven success in GTM, client development, product definition, feature scoping, and balancing tradeoffs for industry-leading business software products
  • Strong client orientation
  • Unconstrained by the resources available


  • Extensive, hands-on experience defining user experience, creating user stories, and managing requirements for user-facing web products
  • Experience with fraud, ‘blackhat’ practices, or compliance solutions is a plus
  • Strong customer orientation and the ability to think through product scenarios and prioritize objectives from all perspectives
  • Experience directly managing Product Managers or Developers
  • Experience in an Agile/SCRUM environment
  • Experience with Amazon EC2 cloud instances
  • Experience in SQL and knowledge of relational database structure
  • Knowledge of the language modeling and speech analytics is a bonus
  • Solid grounding in UI/UX fundamentals
  • Graduate degree in technology/design/business related disciplines
  • Excellent track record of successful internet services launches
  • Willingness & ability to work as a generalist
