Job Description

We all depend on healthcare throughout our lifetimes, for ourselves, and our families and friends, but it is notoriously difficult to navigate and understand. As an industry that comprises 20% of the US economy we think healthcare should work better for all of us. At Collective Health we believe it’s time for a new day in healthcare where as members we are informed and empowered to make the right care choices when the decisions are urgent and critical.

At Collective Health IT, we take pride in the relationships we build with our users, and our ability to solve their everyday computing challenges. As a member of the IT team, you are an integral part of providing an exceptional customer experience for everyone we interact with.

Much like Collective Health as a company, we're a small team with a big mission. We're here to enable friction-free productivity, so that our users can stay focused on building the next generation healthcare platform. We are driven by mission-impact, and the desire to vanquish the drudgery of legacy IT Operations. The ideal candidate will be versatile, hungry to learn, self-initiated, and thrive on ownership and taking on new challenges. If this sounds like an opportunity you’re ready to embrace, please read on!

In this role, you will:

  • Provide all our technology consumers with delightful experiences
  • Create and support frictionless workflows across the business
  • Provision and deprovision hardware, devices, accounts, and licenses
  • Maintain hardware, and software lifecycle management
  • Provide employees with support, and troubleshooting for various productivity tools
  • Contribute to projects and internal process improvements
  • Document, and keep internal policies, and procedures up to date
  • Troubleshoot software and hardware issues, including macOS and Windows computers, Apple and Android based mobile devices, telephony, and wired and wireless networking
  • Provide support for both in-office users as well as remote employees / employees in other offices

We expect a strong candidate for this role to be:

  • Generally a fun, positive, upbeat person
  • Motivated by a desire to solve problems and please others
  • Knowledgeable of macOS and Windows platforms; bonus points for Linux
  • Experienced with SaaS solutions (GSuite, Okta, Zoom, etc)
