The Role

Bankjoy is looking for a Senior Account Manager to manage a portfolio of accounts (banks and credit unions) and is responsible for building strong customer relationships, developing account management strategies, coordinating with internal teams to deliver solutions that meet customers' needs, and identifying opportunities to grow accounts. You will build trust and own the executive relationships at those accounts and provide consultative leadership ensuring the account is achieving and exceeding their goals. You will have a strong knowledge of key performance metrics that measure success and be able to work across teams within Bankjoy to deliver meaningful insights.

In this role, you will:

  • Build trust and manage senior executive relationships with new and existing customers
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure Bankjoy’s success with customers
  • Deliver consultative insights to help customers manage and grow their services with Bankjoy
  • Explore new growth opportunities and new product offerings with customers and partners
  • Lead regular business reviews with executive leadership from customer and Bankjoy to ensure alignment of goals
  • Represent customer’s point of view to internal teams to help inform strategy and product development

What you bring:

  • 8+ years in banking and/or financial services consulting roles
  • Proven track record of building trust and creating great relationships with senior line of business executives
  • Strong business acumen along with grasp of financials, loss rates, and other key metrics used to define success
  • Experience developing strong business cases in partnership with external parties
  • Exceptional written and oral presentation skills
  • Knowledge how banking products are positioned to consumers and businesses digitally
  • Someone that can learn quickly, solve problems independently, and has good judgment
  • Biased towards taking initiative and action
  • Experience driving innovation and/or transformational change
  • Willingness and ability to travel regularly to on-site meetings with customers at their location
  • Prior FinTech experience either directly or through a partnership is a plus
