Headway is building a new mental healthcare system, rewired for access and affordability. 
We all know someone that has struggled with mental health - 1 in 4 people have a treatable mental health condition - but the overwhelming majority don’t get the care they need. The primary reason is cost - seventy percent of therapists don’t accept insurance, meaning paying for therapy is usually very, very expensive. 
Headway is building the first national, virtual network of therapists who accept insurance, helping providers to expand their practices, and individuals to finally find a therapist they can afford. And we’re doing it all through software. 
We launched in April of 2019 and are already powering thousands of therapy appointments every single day. To scale our mission, we’ve raised funding from the world’s preeminent VCs (backers of Facebook, LinkedIn, Slack, Uber, Oscar) as well as the nation’s most innovative healthcare entrepreneurs (founders of One Medical, Flatiron Health, and Clover Health).

About The Role
Our Talent Acquisition team is looking for a Senior Talent Partner to help build the best startup team in America. We are looking for a strong partner to work with hiring managers to strategically find top talent. We’re in hyper-growth mode so we need someone with the drive and passion to work efficiently, eager to collaborate with senior stakeholders on finding the right talent for their respective teams. This person will be responsible for identifying, engaging, assessing and closing the best talent for long term Headway success.

You’d be a great fit if...

    • You have full cycle recruiting experience, either at an agency or in-house 
    • You’re a self-starter who is eager to jump in day one and get things done 
    • You function as a business partner to hiring managers, providing data and market intel to drive towards effective decisions together 
    • You understand the importance of an inclusive, structured hiring process that will reduce bias in Headway’s decision making
    • You’re strategic, data-driven thinker, who analyzes sourcing stats and pipeline pass-through rates to optimize the hiring process
    • You’re scrappy & creative thinker who will find out-of-the box ways to source top talent
    • You’re comfortable navigating through the inevitable ambiguity of a startup
    • You have relentless drive to improve efficiency for the team and all stakeholders
    • You have excellent written and verbal communication skills
Headway is currently remote, and will be for the foreseeable future. However, once it is deemed safe to do so, we will be returning to our office in NYC.
