We are looking for a Director of FP&A to lead and drive Socure’s growing FP&A team from a strategic, operational, and people management perspective.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and drive the company’s annual operating plan and subsequent reforecasts
  • Build the company’s operating expense budget and drive accountability through monthly reporting and interfacing with business leads. Justify investments outside of budget and maintain control of budgeted headcount and vendor spend
  • Track and report company KPIs, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variances. Work with team members to enhance financial and operational performance trends
  • Own our FP&A tool including architecture and integrations
  • Develop synthesized reporting packages for both internal and external consumption
  • Lead system and process improvement initiatives to support our growth and drive efficiencies that help us scale as a company and as an FP&A team
  • Develop accurate financial models and analyses to support strategic initiatives
  • Prepare presentations to Board of Directors and Senior Management Team; display and explain financial results in a simple, easy to consume format
  • Provide mentorship; effectively lead, develop and motivate the FP&A team

Skills and Experience

  • Skills and Experience
  • 10-15+ years progressive experience in finance, management consulting, accounting or investment banking
  • Strong understanding of SaaS and subscription metrics, specifically utility/usage based pricing models
  • Strong skills in using business intelligence tools and large data sets to drive business decision making including investment / ROI evaluation
  • Experience in implementing an FP&A tool
  • Outstanding analytical skills with ability to synthesize information, develop insights and communicate effectively at an executive level
  • Extensive experience in developing budgets and tracking to actuals in high growth businesses
  • Adaptability - Able to react, prioritize and deliver within short/tight deadlines and with high precision on numerous ad-hoc requests
  • Ability to think creatively, highly-driven and self-motivated
  • Demonstrated ability to roll-up sleeves and work with team members in a hands-on management capacity
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, (Looker and SQL experience a plus)
