Job Description

Vise is an artificial intelligence-driven asset management platform, built and designed specifically for the Financial Advisor of the future. We are looking for our first Corporate Operations Engineer who will own the Helpdesk and its related duties. This role will report to the Head of Corporate Operations to be hired (CTO in the interim) and work closely with the Engineering, Office, & People teams. Vise has grown from 6 to 50 in 2020 with plans for continued growth. 

We’re looking for someone with great initiative and subject matter expertise. You should be someone who obsesses about the employee experience and understands how the Helpdesk team can positively improve employee satisfaction and organizational success.

Our office is located in One World Trade in NYC. We are remote-optional until September 30, 2021 and continuing to monitor Covid-19 trends. 

What you will own

  • Coordinate hardware ordering/shipping for new hires 
  • Configuring laptops with all necessary tools for employee productivity
  • Subject Matter Expertise in Google Workspace and other corporate domains
  • Assist with fleet management (Mostly Mac) & keeping our endpoints compliant
  • Write and maintain documentation for onboarding, compliance, etc. 
  • Be responsible for all support requests sent to the Helpdesk 
  • Assist the engineering team with broader projects

What you will bring on Day 1

  • Three to five years experience in a Level II or higher Helpdesk role in a technology company 
  • Comfort supporting Mac extensively
  • Security centered mindset 
  • Experience supporting distribute employee population 
  • An excitement for getting things done in a fast paced environment
  • Some scripting and linux experience is a plus!
