About the position
 
The Partner Sales Manager’s role is responsible for managing and nurturing relationships with Divvy’s partners and empowering them to share Divvy with their clients. You will leverage your sales and relationship management expertise to deliver a world-class partner experience and expand partnerships towards partner-sourced revenue goals. You will manage a partnership portfolio, primarily of accountants, CFOs, and financial consultants, and work with them to implement Divvy as a part of their preferred tech stack. 

What you'll be doing

      • Manage external partners as their main resource and point of contact
      • Onboard and train new partners via kick-off calls, trainings, and QBRs
      • Expand new partnerships and create long-lasting, mutually beneficial relationships with all levels of their organization
      • Lead strategic planning and change management initiatives with external partners
 
      • Close any and all leads/opportunities generated from assigned partners
      • You must know and be comfortable demonstrating and selling Divvy in front of new prospects, partners, and large teams
      • You will be responsible for ensuring partner referrals are bought in to Divvy so they can submit an application and have a quality onboarding experience
      • You will coach, train, and problem solve with your partners to make sure Divvy is meeting the needs and expectations of their clients and organization
 

Qualifications

    • 3+ years of work experience in customer-facing roles ideally with a focus on partnerships, sales, and/or accounting or financial services
    • Proven track record of revenue performance, and comfortability with self prospecting, relationship building, and overall scrappiness
    • Incredible people skills and exceptional communication skills (written and verbal)
    • Ability to quickly build and extensively nurture professional relationships
    • Highly organized, but flexible with last-minute adjustments
    • Strategic thinker and tactical executor
    • Agility to match an intense, fast-paced, and highly iterative environment
    • Functional understanding of accounting and corporate finance practices is a significant plus
