In 2018 we launched our office in Berlin which has since then become the largest PayFit location outside of France with 55 employees. The German market is an essential part of PayFit’s strategy and success - and you could become an integral part of it as our Head of Sales! 
We are looking for an authentic and motivated sales leader who leverages their passion and expertise to build successful strategies and best-practices. You will not only be responsible for managing and scaling our sales team but also co-shape the culture and growth of PayFit Germany as part of the leadership team. 

Your Challenges

    • Lead, develop and grow our sales team with currently 6 team members including a team lead
    • Work with our Marketing and Global Growth team to shape our sales strategy in line with our business plan and ambitious growth targets
    • Optimise our sales cycle from lead to customer by identifying and resolving blockers, discovering and implementing opportunities to increase conversion rates as well as frequently reviewing the sales pipeline with your team
    • Define and implement winning outbound and indirect sales strategies that become the primary growth driver
    • Think outside the box with a focus on our small business customer base, identify and test potential multipliers and new strategic partnerships
    • Be our eyes and ears on the market, share valuable feedback with other departments and further enhance our customer understanding to improve our growth & company strategy
    • Shape the German company culture and strategy as part of the German management team

Your Profile

      • You are a passionate and inspiring leader who manages at eye level with a strong focus on excellence
      • You are constantly seeking new challenges and see setbacks as opportunities for growth, translating them into learnings and successes
      • You have demonstrated experience in managing, leading and training a sales team
      • You have a proven track record of sales management in SaaS, FinTech, HealthTech or similar regulated segments with typically high switching costs and small businesses as the core customer base 
      • You have successfully implemented outbound strategies, built indirect sales channels, and created strategic partnerships that had a multiplier effect on the sales funnel with small businesses
      • You have a detailed understanding of the SaaS sales funnel and know the right techniques to impact conversion rates and velocity 
      • You are entrepreneurial and combine strategic thinking with a hands-on mentality 
      • You are process oriented and know how to work with tools like Salesforce, Service Cloud, Looker, Outreach 
      • You are a strong communicator with very good German (C2 level) and English (C1 level) skills
