Sift’s People Operations team is looking for a People Operations Specialist to join our team. We’re looking for someone who is passionate about all things People Ops, and who operates with uncompromising integrity, attention to detail, a can-do attitude, and a firm growth mindset.

About Us:

At Sift, our mission is simple yet powerful: Help everyone trust the internet. Unsurprisingly, the People Operations team believes that people are critical to the success of our mission. Every day, we work to help grow and enable our employees; maintaining a culture that is true to our values and aspirations is what motivates our team every day. We don’t believe in being bound by rules and processes, but instead we are empowered to look beyond simple answers to complex problems, and building for capability instead of just compliance. We constantly aspire to do more with less, be more agile, more innovative, and to push the boundaries of what is expected.

    • Be an advocate and resource for employees. Operate as a first point of contact regarding employee questions, and advise on the day-to-day execution and interpretation of relevant People Ops guidelines, processes, and programs.

    • Work with the broader People Team to ensure a seamless new hire and onboarding experience across the organization.
    • Manage new hire onboarding content and programs, and ensure initial new hire set up including I-9 administration and the background check process.
    • Coordinate and track onboarding curriculum progress for new hires, and update or propose changes to the onboarding content and program, as needed.
    • Manage employee offboarding process including related systems, communication, and compliance activities.

    • Manage employee related immigration processes, and collaborate closely with Sift’s immigration counsel.
    • Work closely with third-party vendors to administer benefits, employee leaves, and manage PEO employees.
    • Operate as the primary point of contact for employment verification letters & requests.
    • Partner closely with Sift’s People & Legal teams to ensure compliance of Sift’s policies and practices. Responsible for periodic as well as ongoing compliance tracking and reporting. Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.
    • Responsible for data entry, data audits, and reporting for People Ops data & systems
