Job Description

Patreon strives to provide creators with insight, education, and tools that make it possible to retain creative control while running their creative business, so creators can focus on creating and energizing their fanbases.

Our user base has doubled in the last year alone, and we have paid over $1 billion directly to creators on our platform. In order to support this level of growth, Patreon is looking for an HR Coordinator to join our San Francisco team.

What you will do:

  • Support the operations of our onboarding program, including coordinating new hire emails, scheduling onboarding meetings and collecting and uploading employee data into HRIS systems
  • Support  the operations of our offboarding process for employee terminations 
  • Resolve employee ticket request from the HR helpdesk, including verifications of employment, data requests and assisting employees with basic HR questions
  • Champion data accuracy by managing HR records and data including input, auditing and cleanup in HRIS systems (BambooHR, ADP, E-verify and ContractWorks)
  • Maintain and update HR systems, materials, resources, and files
  • Partner with accounting team and provide administrative support for payroll
  • Support the HR team and assist with projects including performance management, compensation planning, benefits administration, HR compliance, organizational development, change management and employee engagement

Skills and experience you possess:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, behavioral science, HR or related field
  • 1+ years of experience in an HR role - HR Operations experience preferred 
  • Customer service and solutions focused -  “no job is too small” attitude 
  • Strong communication skills - both written and verbal
  • Comfort with ambiguity and building from scratch, comfortable in fast-paced environment 
  • Detail oriented and process driven
  • Values and respects confidentiality 
  • Team player, highly collaborative
  • Familiarity with HRIS and payroll systems (Experience with BambooHR and ADP a plus)
