Customers across more than 80 countries and all industries trust BrightEdge to modernize their digital marketing stack for today’s transforming world. We’re looking for our next teammate, a Senior Learning and Development Manager who is passionate about training new BrightEdge-ers and SEO.

What you will do

    • Creating training curriculum for new BrightEdge employees from around the world. Working with various departments to keep the curriculum current as the company grows and our industry-leading technology advances.
    • Instructing remotely using video conferencing software. Classes are run every two weeks and class size can vary from three or four up to 25.
    • Understanding the educational and professional backgrounds of the new employees, who vary from highly experienced SEOs to those completely new to the industry, and adjusting the training where possible accordingly.
    • Keeping up with new industry trends, understanding for example the import of recent Google algorithm changes and explaining them clearly and concisely.
    • Welcoming new employees to BrightEdge, and creating enthusiasm for our company and our technology.
    • Working with other departments like HR, IT, IT Security and Legal on their presentations to the new employees.
    • Setting up and monitoring quizzes and tests in our Learning Management System.
    • Training new employees who may be located in different time zones, including in Europe and Australia.
    • Training new Customer Service Managers in how to use a variety of functions in the BrightEdge platform to make our clients successful in the organic channel.
    • Filling in from time to time as needed with other trainings throughout the company, including with customers.

What it takes to successful

    • 2 to 3 years of SEO or SEO copywriting, or SEO content marketing experience. Other digital marketing experience would also be helpful.
    • Ability to explain complex SEO and digital marketing concepts in a simple, straightforward manner to those who may have no prior industry background.
    • Familiarity with Google Analytics and Google Search Console. Google Ads experience would be helpful.
    • Prior experience teaching, especially in a corporate setting.
    • Prior teaching experience using video conferencing platforms would be helpful.
    • Ability to inspire our new employees with the BrightEdge mission and values.
