I’m Keegan, I lead the Paid and Social team at Bench. I wanted to share a bit about where Bench is currently, what we’re looking for in this role and where we’re looking to take our paid program. Firstly, Bench is about to launch one of the most innovative products in the Fintech world, it will revolutionize how small businesses manage their finances. More importantly, it will change their life and help them focus on what matters so that they don’t have to think about how to manage their books and their bank accounts. With that said, there is a lot of work to be done in paid marketing to ensure we get in front of small business owners and share this message. We need someone to own the performance of our current paid client generation channels (Facebook and Google), and more importantly, own the expansion of new paid channels. Experimentation is a principle at the core of Bench’s success and is something we value highly and commit to always supporting. You’ll have full autonomy to ideate experiments and see them through to execution. Don’t worry - you’ll be fully supported by other marketing team members, our creative team, sales and business analysts to turn your ideas into industry-leading marketing initiatives. Things are going to move fast in this role and the task ahead is going to be a big challenge but, if you’re up for it, I believe the opportunity is equally as great and I would love to tell you more about it in an interview.

Below is everything you need to know about this amazing opportunity:


  • Scaling Bench’s paid marketing program (FB ads, Google Ads, and other PPC channels)
  • Sourcing, testing, and evaluating new ad channels and technologies
  • Measuring results of existing paid marketing channels and optimizing campaigns based on platform and business results data
  • Develop new high growth go-to-market strategies for emerging products and business units within Bench 
  • Creating clear reports and communicating performance to key stakeholders in the organization
  • Collaborating with internal teams to produce and execute one-off and ongoing campaigns
  • Ideate with Bench’s internal brand team in developing unique and compelling creative content
  • Work in close partnership with all go-to-market teams to ensure messaging and positioning is aligned and optimized for full-funnel performance

What are we looking for in a Paid Acquisition Manager?

  • You have a deep understanding of the digital paid landscape and have 3-5 years of experience creating high-growth, scalable programs.
  • You’re highly motivated and plan and execute strategies autonomously when needed. 
  • You take the lead in analyzing results and developing optimization and testing plans.
  • You collaborate across departments and share insights and apply learnings constantly.
  • You’re curious and are always looking for ways to improve both yourself and the work that you do.
  • You’re comfortable challenging ideas and equally comfortable having your own ideas challenged. 

Nice to haves:

  • Google Adwords, Google Analytics, or Facebook Blueprint certification
  • B2B Demand Generation and/or SaaS experience
  • Marketing technology experience using: AdWords Editor, Google Optimize, Unbounce, Marketo, Heap and/or Salesforce
