The Role

As a SoFi Product Management Intern, you won’t be sitting on the sidelines during your internship. You’ll be working as a full-time member of our Product team, focused every day on building products and features that fulfill our mission to help our members get their money right. You will be embedded on an agile development team, partnered with Engineering, Product Design, User Experience Research, and Data Science to  define and implement new features and functionality for our members.


Our unique PM intern program is an immersive experience that provides insight into how we operate our business, access to leaders and executives, and first-hand experiences that will give you the skills to launch your career in Product Management.


What You'll Do

  • Help define a product vision and strategy

  • Analyze market trends, competitors, customer research, and product data to understand member needs

  • Use data, experimentation, and research to validate assumptions

  • Help drive the roadmap, define requirements, and partner with Engineers to ship code and build new features 

  • Partner with Product Designers to create intuitive and delightful user experiences

  • Learn about new technologies, tools and processes that will build your skill set and help shape your career

  • Present your summer project/work to  SoFi’s senior leadership team, including our CEO


What You'll Need

  •  Currently enrolled in year two of an MBA program or Masters/PhD program in Computer Science (or related field) at a North American university

  • Ability to think strategically and execute methodically

  • Strong product intuition

  • Intellectual curiosity and an affinity for solving problems

  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal; ability to present your ideas clearly 


Nice to have

  • Previous start-up or development experience (internship, hackathon, etc)
