The SDR Manager is responsible for hiring, training, and coaching new SDRs —as well as the attainment of all goals and metrics. Organizationally, the SDR Manager will report to the current SDR Manager and have oversight of her/his team. The SDR Manager will manager her/his Sales Development team to deliver profitable growth while creating a culture of success. The SDR Manager will work closely with the current SDR Manager, CRO, and VP of Sales on strategy, positioning, and messaging that will elevate the sales team. The SDR Manager will be accountable for meeting sales and pipeline goals, along with coaching and developing reps as part of their career growth. The SDR Manager will develop and deploy metrics and meeting standards to measure success as the SDR team grows, as well as quantifiable metrics around rep development and coaching.


First 30 days

  • Gain a complete understanding of the Invoice Cloud solution
  • Undergo On-Boarding Meetings with Sales and Marketing leaders
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the Invoice Cloud value proposition
  • Understand GAP Selling methodology
  • Gain an initial understanding of current and future prospect opportunities, and existing Invoice Cloud integrations and partners
  • Become proficient in the Invoice Cloud Sales Tools and methodology
  • Learn the current SDR strategy and listen to calls conducted by SDRs
  • Observe sales demonstrations conducted by current team members
  • Develop working knowledge of current marketing activities

First 60 days

  • Assess competencies, weaknesses, and strengths of current BDR model through 1v1s, observing demos and meetings, etc.
  • Provide coaching and feedback to the reps
  • Learn Invoice Cloud’s current sales hiring process
  • Work with the hiring team to recruit and help build out the SDR team
  • Work with the IC Alliance Directors to understand the current partner landscape, and how Invoice Cloud leverages partnerships to drive new business

First 90 days

  • Learn the Invoice Cloud implementation process, and how the IC customer service team operates
  • Start to make recommendations for improvements in Invoice Cloud’s current sales process and messaging
  • Collaborate with the SDR Manager and Sales Enablement Manager on the development of improved rep training and coaching programs – as well as metrics used to measure the effectiveness of those programs


  • Experience coaching, training, mentoring and developing a high performing SDR team
