We are recruiting a Buyer for the Indirect Procurement Team to support marketing, technology and corporate categories.
This is an exciting opportunity where you will be managing and negotiating high-value contracts, utilising best practice procurement process. This is a group role and covers all business divisions and countries.
Key pillar for success in the team is the ability to support THG rapid growth whilst ensuring we buy cost-effectively and innovatively. The successful candidates will be willing to work in a high-pressure environment and confident in negotiating high-value supplier contracts
Main Responsibilities:
Utilise sourcing strategies that meet procurement and wider business objectives
Identify innovative solutions to reduce costs and improve the benefits THG realises from our supply chain
Operating tenders in accordance with best practice procurement
Negotiating commercial terms within high value contracts
Communicating and influencing cross-functional stakeholders
Ensuring procurement meet key project deadlines
Requirements
To be considered for this role you should have the following skills / experience:
Experience in procurement and ideally also a good understanding of marketing solutions
Very strong analytical and numerical skills
Problem-solving skills,
High Commercial awareness,
Capable of making decisions
Strong communication skills,
Proficient in using Microsoft Office to a high standard, particularly Excel.
