Operations are at the heart of our customers’ experience here at THG. We manufacture a wide range of sports nutrition and cosmetic consumer goods that we then despatch to our customers in over 200 countries worldwide from our purpose-built, innovative Manufacturing and Distribution Centres.
THG is looking to recruit a Global Packaging Compliance Manager who will be based at our main Manufacturing site in Burtonwood, Warrington and also spend time at HQ, to implement and drive a strategy to ensure THG is compliant with global packaging waste regulations.
Main Responsibilities:
Design a strategy to ensure THG is compliant with global packaging waste regulations
Work with a range of stakeholders to implement the packaging waste
Provide expertise to lead problem-solving and resolve packaging waste issues.
Deliver Packaging waste improvement projects
Reporting of compliance data for all packaging initiatives.
Deliver THG's packaging waste declarations in UK and International territories with relevant agencies
Maintaining an up-to-date knowledge of regulatory changes and consultations and update the business and implement changes as required in response to changes in packaging waste regulations
Challenge and manage suppliers to deliver the required standards.
Requirements
To be considered for this role you should have
A good understanding of global packaging regulations
A keen interest in sustainability and CSR
Data driven with a high proficiency in excel
Project management experience
Stakeholder management
Clear and concise communication skills
Ability to negotiate and influence others
Ability to make decisions
