Luxury Department

The Luxury department manages four websites across the THG portfolio – Coggles, Allsole, MyBag and the flagship facia theHut.com. The Brand portfolio across the sites range from accessible through to high end Luxury. One of the smallest teams in THG, this is a busy, fast-paced environment with each team member actively involved with driving the success of the division

Job Description

As the TheHut.de country executive for the DACH region you will be supporting the site through effective planning co-ordination and assisting driving the overall site performance across both trade and marketing.

Main tasks

    Assisting in the delivery of and presenting monthly sales and profits in line with targets agreed with the Head of Trading
    Execution and co-ordination of trading activity through multiple internal platforms
    Working with internal teams; especially TheHut.com trading team, buying, marketing, design, merchandising and IT to deliver on plans and strategies
    Working with our affiliate team to build relationships with DACH regional affiliates and ensure the latest news and offers are regularly communicated
    Working with our ECRM team to send targeted and translated emails in the DACH region
    Writing engaging and relevant translated content across site, products and marketing channels that deliver strategic SEO value
    Understanding areas to drive regional growth, be it through new customers, sales, profit, conversion or engagement
    Gather data and analysis for TheHut.de performance against KPI’s using internal (Business Intelligence reports) and external (e.g. Google Analytics) systems
    Review key lines and best-selling products to ensure every opportunity is maximised, and work in conjunction with the merchandising team to ensure that key products have good visibility and availability throughout the website
    Visual merchandising the site based on data, popularity, newness and aesthetic
    Support the delivery of the customer experience through mobile/desktop/tablet, providing the customer with engaging and relevant content and information about brands and products
    Ownership of the campaign and offers planners in agreement with the relevant buyer(s) and agreeing plans with marketing heads and Trading Manager
    Analyse the departments, the key competitors and current competitor activity
    Working closely with the Trading Manager and other Trading Executives to develop cross-category opportunities and deliver the overall site strategy

Requirements

    German language skills both written and spoken to native level & preferably experience living or working in the DACH market
    Strong analytical skills
    Proficiency using Microsoft Excel
    Ability to prioritise workload
    Computer literate in the use of Microsoft Office systems
    Innovative thinking
    Organised and punctual
    Demonstrate a positive and professional attitude
    Be a team player
