Job Description

Role Overview:
The Security Analytics Manager will drive strategic programs related to Lacework’s host/container vulnerability & threat intelligence analytics. The team is responsible for the end-to-end implementation of the threat modeling pipeline, container and host vulnerability assessments, and event generation subteams.

About the Role:

  • Lead a team of engineers in the implementation and deployment of host and container vulnerability scanning subsystems.
  • Drive the implementation of a rich ecosystem of capabilities and services for Lacework’s threat modeling and threat intelligence.
  • Build robust and flexible event processing capabilities as part of a big data production pipeline
  • Work closely with Lacework’s security research team, product managers, and data scientists to define a roadmap for the team that balances the outside-in perspective against the inside-out, while also finding harmony between tactical and strategic solutions.
  • Partner with quality engineering and DevOps to improve both agility and quality of the Lacework product, supporting rapid CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code constructs to automate everything from testing to production delivery.
About You:
  • 3+ years of experience leading engineering teams.
  • 6+ years of hands-on experience with customer-facing product development.
  • Demonstrated experience with cloud security auditing
  • Strong knowledge of SaaS deployments, microservices, relational databases, and big data pipelining.
  • Must have demonstrated ability to design for scalability, performance, and reliability.
  • Working knowledge/experience with modern cloud deployment models (including containers, object stores, secrets & access managers, etc)
  • MS or Ph.D. in computer science or similar.
