YOUR ROLE
As Taxdoo’s Head of Sales Operations, you’ll be part of the company’s sales management team, reporting directly to the responsible VP. You will own all of our developments with respect to building effective processes and systems to help our sales team maximize productivity and effectiveness in their roles. This key role in our sales team requires you to advance our core sales processes and tools on an ongoing basis, to identify potential improvements in these, to constantly monitor and report our sales performance and set goals for our sales team, to plan the development of our sales operations and to monitor and manage our sales data and sales pipeline.

Sales is Taxdoo’s fastest growing department. Starting with 5 people based in Hamburg in late 2020, the team will grow to more than 40 by the end of 2021. Roles focus on inbound sales, but also include outbound teams as well as partner and key account management.

  • Continuously monitor and develop our core sales processes for all relevant markets and adapt these to new requirements or simplify processes where possible
  • Monitor and manage our sales pipeline regarding conversion rates and conversion velocity, identify potential bottlenecks, improve measurement, and recommend improvements
  • Optimize the range of tools and resources available to our sales team and identify possibilities to benefit from sales automation tools
  • Manage our CRM system and CRM data regarding up-to-dateness, consistency, and customization potential
  • Create an ideal working environment for our sales team to be as productive and effective as possible in their daily work
  • Monitor sales performance and set performance goals, evaluate team performance
  • Manage sales forecasts, conduct forecast analyses, and identify requirements to meet our growth objectives
  • Advance and regularly provide our comprehensive sales reporting related to past, current, and future performance
                                                       
YOUR PROFILE
  • Experience in a high-velocity, fast-growing, venture-backed B2B SaaS environment
  • Extensive experience in running and managing sales operations
  • CRM experience (e.g., Hubspot, Salesforce)
  • Excellent English language skills (German helpful)
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Experience in owning the complete sales process throughout the sales funnel
  • Demonstrated experience in (sales) reporting regarding past, current, and future performance targeted at sales teams, managers, and leadership
  • Demonstrated experience in people and team management
