### The Job
 
We are looking for a **User Support Associate** to join our ****User Support and Success team**.** 
 
We view our interactions with our users as the most valuable work we do and you will help make sure our customers have a great experience from end to end. You will work directly with the Head of Support at Jumbo and also interact with our QA, Engineering and Product teams.
 
This will be a contract role initially with an option to hire after a 3-month period. Our last hires have ended up as full time members of the team and have taken on a large variety of roles. 
 
**The role involves:** 
 
- Working over email to guide our users to a positive outcome using our software
- Doing friendly calls to give guidance on using our app
- Providing an amazing experience for our users
- Speaking with users to gather product feedback to influence the product roadmap
- Troubleshooting and technical support
- Working with QA, Engineering and Product teams to communicate our user's needs
 
### Who are we looking for?
 
We are looking for something different. You do not need technical customer support experience and you do not need a traditional college degree.
 
We want clever, motivated people from all backgrounds who are willing to solve problems with us, and take exceptional care of our users. You care about privacy and want to join a team that cares deeply about what they are working on. Most of all, you are excited about people.
 
While flexible, we imagine 1-3 years of customer-facing work will be necessary to succeed. 
 
**You will be a good fit for this role if you:**
 
- Read and write English well
- Have a high level of emotional intelligence and empathy
- Be comfortable in social situations with strangers
- Are able to explain complex things in a simple and digestible way to people
- Be comfortable using technology and quick to solve it's associated issues
- Have a friendly demeanor and patience to understand where people are coming from
- Learn rapidly and be ready to take on additional roles
