The Role:

As a Data Integration Engineer, you will have a major role in ensuring that Selligent Marketing Cloud clients and partners deliver interactive campaigns that successfully engage customers and drive business results. These campaigns will rely on client data reaching Selligent Marketing Cloud platform, and can then be executed over email, web, mobile, and social channels. Ensuring that data processes are correctly and optimally scoped, implemented and maintained for our clients and partners is the key responsibility of the Data Integration Engineer role. 

 

You will be joining a close-knit team with a no-nonsense mentality and a roll-up-your-sleeves attitude, operating in a high-technology environment.  While the Data Integration Engineer role at Selligent is challenging at times, you will have the opportunity to learn and develop cutting edge skills in the quickly growing field of Digital Marketing.

In This Role You Will:

  • Create and implement Data Models in Selligent Marketing Cloud environment based on client's data sources.

  • Develop HTML forms and email templates. 

  • Execute integration projects, connecting data from client’s and partner’s systems with the Selligent Marketing Cloud platform via API and/or ETL layer.

  • Ensure high level requirements, based on clients' needs, are consistent, complete, correct and operationally defined and can be met with Selligent Marketing Cloud platform.

  • Maintain and optimize the performance of client’s and partner’s instances of Selligent Marketing Cloud platform.

  • Master understanding of underlying consumer data that powers a client’s program and how to access it within the Selligent Marketing Cloud platform; ability to then explain this understanding to clients and partners, empowering them to further develop their programs. 

  • Translate new business use-cases into technical data requirements. 

  • Estimate scopes for project work based upon requirements; proactively manage deliverables tied to project plans.

  • Efficiently troubleshoot and diagnose potential issues with data entering or exiting the Selligent Marketing Cloud platform.

  • Provide consultation and support for clients integrating with Selligent Marketing Cloud APIs.

  • Collaborate with other team members, taking on new assignments as instructed with a positive, can-do attitude.

  • Willingness to travel (about 10%).
     

What We’re Looking For:

  • BS in Engineering, Computer Science or related discipline.

  • Minimum of five years’ experience in Data Modeling and Microsoft T-SQL. 

  • Minimum of three years’ experience in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery and web development.

  • Knowledge in C#.NET is a plus.

  • Passionate about data and digital marketing, at a technical level.

  • Meticulous; eye for detail and a highly-developed sense of responsibility.

  • Effective at solving problems, either autonomously or with the help of other teams.

  • Openness to developing knowledge and new skills in a constantly evolving environment.

  • Great communication skills and customer minded.
