Position Summary:

The Senior Identity Engineer is responsible for building and maintaining a secure, stable, and optimally performing identity environment across our entire technology portfolio. Key responsibilities include AD and Okta configuration, security and policy, identity standards, and technical solution design and implementation. This role will be called upon to display initiative toward improvement and optimization. The ideal candidate has 5-7 years of experience managing IAM solutions, hands on expertise with AD and Okta, excellent documentation, communication, and project management skills, and aspires to join a high-performance team of technical enthusiasts providing quality customer service and effective technical solutions, in a fast-paced, dynamic, team-oriented environment.

Job Duties

Configuration and management of Active Directory and Okta to support the internal identity needs of the business.  Responsible for handling complex issues.

Automate provisioning and deprovisioning of applications using SAML, OpenID Connect, JIT and SCIM

Serve as Tier 3 support for all identity related issues across AD and Okta, and troubleshooting complex Identity and Access Management issues

Drive initiatives to reduce authentication friction, while improving security, across internal and potentially external Identity use cases. Performs with a high degree of latitude to ensure consistency and compliance across org.

Work with various stakeholders to improve onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure successful audit and compliance outcomes, serves as subject matter expert.

Document and maintain system administration operating procedures and best practices while mentoring and cross training others

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline desired, or 5 - 7 years of directly relevant experience
  • Experience support/Administration of Active Directory and Okta
  • Experience with the delivery and support of single sign on, SAML, OAuth and OpenID Connect.
  • Experience with Rest Web services, SSO/Federation architectures and other authentication/authorization protocols.
  • Knowledge on IAM concepts such as identity management, provisioning, authentication, authorization, certification/governance, monitoring, role mining along with experience in security best practices.
  • Experience in cloud Identity Management.
  • Strong written and oral communications skills, specifically technical documentation.
  • Ability to interface directly with internal customers, peer IT support teams, and all levels of management.
  • Eligibility to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.
