The Team

Torch is looking for an SEO & Content Manager that can powerfully differentiate our messaging, break through the noise and move customers along in their journey. You will be partnering with Marketing, Product, Sales, and other teams to move this mission forward.

Additionally, the SEO & Content Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping how we communicate the value of our products and solutions to our users around the globe. You will be responsible for writing across several mediums, including the Torch website, ads, emails, landing pages, blog posts, decks, one-pagers, and social media. You will also meet prospects and customers wherever they are in their customer journey.

This role will be reporting directly to our San Francisco-based Director of Growth Marketing.

Your Position:

You will create B2B marketing content that builds brand preference, audience engagement, digital authority, and website traffic.
You will accelerate lead creation, conversion, and revenue by providing compelling and high-engagement content.
You will produce well-researched content for multiple channels - website, blog, email nurtures, ads, sales collateral, videos, and more.
You will use Torch’s messaging framework to ensure consistency across all Torch assets.
You will organize writing schedules to complete drafts of content and ensure timely delivery of materials.
You will collaborate with multiple stakeholders within Torch to identify needs and gaps in our content and recommend new topics.
You will build and maintain a master editorial calendar.
You will periodically refresh content to ensure it is accurate and align with our content marketing strategy.
You will collect, inspect, and report content marketing KPIs to inform and optimize ongoing content marketing efforts.
You will use SEO strategies in writing to maximize Torch’s website visibility in search results.
You will conduct ongoing SEO analysis and monitoring (including keyword research and backlink analysis) for the company's portfolio of businesses.
You will monitor and maintain the site's technical SEO health, including but not limited to XML sitemaps, crawl errors, and site speed.
You will optimize on-page content for SEO/UX purposes.

Your Experience:

You have at least 5+ years of related work experience with a B2B technology or SaaS company with discipline in content/SEO.
You have excellent writing skills and a proven track record of developing compelling marketing materials (samples must be provided when submitting your application).
You have a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.
You are deadline-driven and not afraid to push for time adherence.
You have extensive experience utilizing SEO and web analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Moz, Yoast.
You have robust analytics and project management skills.
You have strong communication skills with an ability to communicate effectively across multiple levels of an organization.
