Position Summary

Director, Solution Consulting, will contribute to Sales opportunity growth and client success through early and continuous design guidance for Solutions during and after the sale. Will be responsible for connecting current Welltok capabilities, solutions and solution strategy to market success by tailoring them to meet the needs of individual clients in collaboration with Sales, Account Management, Market Solution and Professional Services to collect client requirements. Will be responsible for developing demo environments to make the solution tangible for clients and prospects prior to sale, and for ensuring solution proposals are successfully communicated to delivery teams to ensure delivery success.

The role is required to communicate and share deep product knowledge of our software and capabilities to internal teams as well as clients to ensure sustainability and maintain performance and quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and deliver all aspects of Solution Scope Design during pre-sales and post-sales.
  • Providing strategic support and guidance to Sales representatives and Customer Success Managers (CSMs) on deal-specific solution strategy, business benefits, product capabilities and constraints throughout the sales process.
  • Demonstrate an advanced knowledge of the solutions, applications and all design and implementation features to serve as a SME.
  • Proactively engage with Professional Services, Market Solutions, Product Management, Sales, and other stakeholders to identify pain points, opportunities, and new capabilities.
  • Understand customer requirements and limitations and work collaboratively towards optimal solutions.
  • Support functional elements of RFIs/RFPs.
  • Help shape the product roadmap by communicating to the internal teams market opportunities, customer requests, and trends.
  • Manage the new client transition process with Sales from contract execution to project kickoff to ensure a smooth transition, and that expectations are properly set and communicated.
  • The ideal candidate has a strong sense of accountability, and a keen focus on delivering solid customer experiences.
  • Deliver onsite and remote product demonstrations directly tied to closing business and driving revenue as needed.
  • Develop compelling demonstrations of standard solutions spanning the entire Welltok portfolio, as well as necessary supporting materials for client-facing teams when needed.
  • Educate the organization on proper procedures, documentation and alignment.
  • Support and develop compelling demonstrations of defined and packaged market solutions spanning the Welltok portfolio, as well as necessary supporting materials for client-facing teams.
  • Support training of client-facing teams on demos of defined market solutions.
  • Support mentoring junior consultants and the rest of the team on solutions and capabilities.
  • Required travel: 30%+ for client and prospect meetings. Understand customer requirements and limitations and work collaboratively towards optimal solutions.

Experience

  • Bachelor's degrees in Business, Public Health, Health Promotion/Wellness or other technology or health-related field required. Master’s preferred.
  • 9+ years’ work experience and/or training, preferably in a client service setting as a consultant or a practitioner in an employer or health plan setting.
  • Experience in Benefit Programs, Healthcare (Hospital or Health Insurance), Insurance or Consulting Services.
  • Highly motivated self-starter with strong collaboration skills to work proactively across internal team and external clients without management direction.
  • Ability to understand Client requirements, and develop solutions to meet Client requirements within the guardrails of the Welltok's offering.
  • Ability to troubleshoot through creative and adaptive approaches.
  • Excellent communication (oral/written/presentation), interpersonal and consultative skills.
  • Experience with product and technology demonstrations.
  • Ability to build and deliver effective and compelling client presentations and demonstrations.
  • Experience implementing and/or supporting communication solutions that include multiple channels of communication.

This role may require access to systems containing Regulated or Confidential data and is thereby subject to additional security and privacy controls.
