Job Description

We’re Melio, a TLV-based startup on a mission to keep small businesses in business. Our online payment solution enables small businesses in the US to pay their bills in more efficient ways that improve their finances and free them up to focus more on managing the business they love.

Backed by top-tier VCs, we have a unique approach to small business payments and aim to make B2B payments as simple and easy as peer-to-peer payment apps. We’re growing fast and looking for enthusiastic team players.

As a Content Writer you will be joining our Growth team and contribute to our company’s success. You will work closely with multiple teams to contribute to the development and evolution of a hyper growing company. You will be responsible for creating captivating content that will resonate with our readership, uphold our brand, support the sales process, and help convert relevant prospects into Melio customers.

How you’ll make an impact

  • Researching, developing and writing compelling data-based content to engage our target audience: small business owners and accountants
  • Editing and writing content for Melio’s website, resource center & blog
  • Creating content to support digital campaigns and tweaking it to optimize results (e.g. writing copy for ads, landing pages and social posts)
  • Preparing decks and materials for F2F meetings and events
  • Writing scripts for explainer videos
  • Tracking and optimizing content performance across all channels

What we’d love to see

  • Native English - MUST
  • 3+ years writing experience
  • Excellent writing and editing skills, and the ability to communicate and collaborate succinctly
  • Creativity in developing new topics into content assets across various mediums
  • Detail-oriented, committed to producing high quality deliverables on tight deadlines
  • Familiarity with the U.S. Small Business ecosystem - advantage
  • Preference will be given to those with a strong writing portfolio, bachelor’s degree and relevant work experience
