Job Description

As a Head of Talent Acquisition, you will be responsible to bring in great talent to Eightfold, highlighted below is a list of responsibilities associated with this role .

What You’ll Do:
  • Work with key stakeholders as a trusted partner to understand hiring needs for the India team.
  • Own the recruiting funnel including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and evaluating candidates
  • Experienced leader with a track record of building, leading, and inspiring high performing teams
  • Drive the value of talent acquisition activities by leading strategic staffing discussions with business leaders and HR partners to appropriately and continually align recruiting objectives with evolving business objectives
  • Champion diversity and culture in all aspects of the hiring process, from job descriptions, training for hiring managers, interview process consistency as well as candidate experience leading to measurable improvement in availability and selection of diverse candidates into the organization
  • Create a positive and personalized candidate experience
  • Conduct preliminary interviews with recruits to gauge interest, assess foundational skills, and calibrate salary requirements.  
  • Define and implement a proactive communication plan to keep all stakeholders informed and aligned.
  • Design and implement creative search strategies to identify and attract top talent to Eightfold and continually raising the hiring bar
  • Make innovative use of technology and metrics to provide valuable insights into the recruitment process
  • Lead employer branding initiatives
  • Design & lead campus engagement plans and overall campus hiring initiatives
  • Own special projects/recruiting initiatives including assessment of best practices in interviewing techniques and leveraging of internal sources of talent.
  • Actively utilize the Eightfold platform for all recruiting activities and reporting, be an internal subject matter expert on the functionality and usage of our product.
What We Look For:
  • 12+ years of experience with a solid understanding of overall hiring
  • 4+ years of leadership experience 
  • Experience building high-performing teams and attracting top talent through periods of rapid growth
  • Experience in workforce planning and developing long-term talent acquisition strategies
  • Experience and strategies for raising the bar for incoming talent
  • Experience in independently partnering with senior leadership on hiring initiatives
  • Experience in negotiating, influencing, and driving results
  • Interpersonal skills and ability to speak knowledgeably about the company and answer any technical questions a potential hire may have
  • Extremely self-motivated, goal-oriented
  • Capable of thriving in a fast-moving, high-velocity environment preferably in the tech space
  • Strong project management experience and ability to lead and execute multiple projects simultaneously
