Job Description

We’re looking for a Product Marketer to focus on Data Products within Group Nine Media. As a member of the Product Marketing team, you’ll drive the go-to-market strategy for our data capabilities and internal priorities to ensure our offering is market leading.  You’ll work closely with our Product, Engineering, Business Operations and Insights teams. 

The Product Marketing Manager, Data Products will lead by example in demonstrating Group Nine’s values - Care Deeply, Be Brave, Go First, Do Good, Stay Close and Win Together.


  • Develop go-to-market strategies, narrative and marketing materials for Group Nine’s data offerings
  • Support our Brand Partnership team on Client strategy and partnership discussions
  • Develop new data product offerings to bring to market
  • Serve as point of contact for existing vendors (Permutive, Liveramp,, etc.) and potential partners
  • Be responsible for monitoring ongoing industry changes and interpreting how these changes impact Group Nine’s business 
  • Assist in the direction of Group Nine’s taxonomy to ensure consistency across the organization


  • A desire to drive innovation and develop industry-leading offerings 
  • Ability to work both externally with advertising partners and internally across technical, operational, legal and business teams
  • Quickly establish yourself as the go-to internal expert as it pertains to data capabilities, policies and competitive offerings 
  • Ability to bring clarity of data product offering to Brand Partnership team through effective training 


  • 5+ years of experience in a publisher, agency or ad tech role specializing in data
  • Deep understanding of of data-driven marketing strategies and tactics
  • Hands on experience managing programs which leverage 1st party data 
  • Current understanding of changes in the industry as it relates to privacy, 3rd party data, and technical innovation
  • Experience successfully managing multiple projects simultaneously under tight timelines and quickly shifting priorities
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
  • Proven experience organizing and directing across multiple teams and departments
  • Intellectual curiosity and a strong need to learn and improve
  • Impeccable follow-through, details oriented, highly resourceful
  • Direct communicator, and able to cater communications to different audiences
  • Extremely versatile, dedicated to efficient productivity
  • Proficiency in Keynote and G Suite Applications
  • Exceptional emotional intelligence, empathy, and sound judgment to your work and collaboration with others, making you a trusted colleague and go-to partner.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, organizational, and multi-tasking skills
