About the Role 

This position is a full-time Entry Level Inside Sales (Outbound Calling: B2C) role, ideal for those looking to gain work experience in real estate, customer service, or sales and start a lasting career at Common. We’re looking for ambitious, self-motivated people to join our team and our mission of turning housing into a consumer-focused industry. This role is a starting point for rapid growth and career development within the organization. With extensive training on Common’s products and business model, employees in this role develop the skills to transition into numerous roles within the company including Portfolio Managers and Leasing managers. 

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for prospective members looking to move into our new or existing homes
  • Respond to inbound leads and convey Common’s value proposition
  • Qualify leads’ interest and fit against our available inventory
  • Conduct outbound B2C calls (leads provided)
  • Convert qualified leads into scheduled tours with our leasing specialists team
  • Conduct on-the-spot 3D and virtual tours of our homes as needed
  • Become an expert on our portfolio of homes and services in your assigned markets
  • Collaborate with team members to share and learn from best practices
  • Own all initial communication with leads until they have toured one of our homes

Requirements

  • You are interested in building a career in real estate, sales, or customer service
  • You have a background in dealing with customers/consumers, and have a knack of understanding customers needs and handling objections/challenges
  • You love connecting with people online and on the phone
  • You don’t believe in settling and have a passion for achieving positive end results
  • You are comfortable working in a face paced environment, providing exceptional service to potential customers
  • You think big and make it happen-a zealot for growth
  • Your are flexible and are willing to work weekends and evenings as needed
