About the Role
 
The Sr. Channel Marketing Manager is responsible for driving sell-through in their assigned retailers through marketing activities that leverage both the account’s and Tile’s marketing strategies and vehicles. They will work with internal team members (including product marketing, marketing, Tile.com, sales, operations) to understand marketing priorities, business conditions and strategic objectives. The Sr. CMM will work to execute and measure the plan in conjunction with the National Account Manager and the retail partner. These channel marketing plans will include in-channel advertising placements, promotional plans and online and in-store merchandising (including signage, messaging and in-store displays). 

Specific Responsibilities

    • Support the development of the account’s annual plan that connects stated goals from leadership with growth drivers for accounts.
    • Development and execution of Account merchandising plans & resets, including assortment plan-o-grams, advertising and retailer web content.
    • Drive the development of marketing materials (training, sell sheets, etc).  
    • Support the development of sales materials (retailer decks, account playbooks, etc) collaborating with Sales and Product Mktg.
    • Own understanding all nuances & opportunities for given accounts.
    • Know what specific activities each account has and what we should be participating in. Examples: training, field marketing, account events/programs, special sales events.  
    • Manage relationship with fabricators to develop and produce point of purchase assets that are within budget, selecting creative & materials that align with the account strategy.
    • Responsible for fixture maintenance and ordering.
    • Develop marketing/media plans with each account. Review and optimize on a monthly basis. Keep Sales updated on performance.
    • Ensure that visual instore/online  merchandising is on brand (PDP content/promotional campaigns/syndicated content).
    • Manage 3rd party in-store audits. Provide feedback to sales on optimal location/placement and quality of execution.
    • Provide feedback to Sales and Product Mktg for custom skus, packaging, messaging.
    • Review and maintain UPP at retail accounts.

    • Superior project management and time management skills
    • Retail Channel marketing experience, mastery of available retail marketing levers (product, price, placement, promotion)
    • Team player and relationship builder

Qualifications

    • 7+ years of retail channel marketing experience
    • BA/BS degree preferred
    • Demonstrated analytical capabilities
    • Strong presentation skills
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills to accounts
    • Experience project managing retailer merchandising, online and in-store
    • Proficiency with Excel, power point, Google docs, sheets and slides

About Tile
 
Tile is best known today for its market-leading Bluetooth finders with over 35 million units sold and ~5M items located daily.  That said, Tile has recently expanded the devices that are findable by its platform by embedding its software into third-party products.  
 
Over 30 billion Bluetooth devices are shipping over the next 5 years and each of these can be Tile-enabled with a software update. Partnerships have been announced with HP for laptops, leading audio headset OEMs like Bose and SkullCandy, and several others. Tile also has a large portfolio of unannounced OEM partnerships with top brands in many other large verticals (e.g. wearables, bikes, etc.) and is integrating its technology on the Bluetooth chips to make the Tile enablement more seamless for these partners (e.g. Tile has a partnership with Intel for PCs).  
 
In addition to the OEM and chip partnerships, Tile is scaling its finding network by entering into access point partnerships with companies like Google, Amazon, and Comcast (all announced and ongoing).
 
From a business model perspective, Tile is shifting the relationship with its customers from a transactional device sale to offering a long-term, high-value service.  Tile introduced its premium service two years ago and has ~400K subscribers today with a specific focus on growing annual recurring revenue.
