Job Description

As a Customer Marketing Manager, you will join our Developer Marketing team, where you will develop new and innovative ways for LaunchDarkly to connect with our customers. Customer Marketing collaborates with sales, product, and the broader marketing organization to ensure consistent messaging and alignment with strategic goals. 

If you are driven by creating connections with customers to gain referrals and renewals, then this role is for you.

Responsibilities:

  • Nurture and appreciate customer champions through close partnerships with our customer success teams.

  • Create and maintain a system for tracking customer champion profiles. 

  • Drive an increase in customers participating in the customer reference program.

  • Source customer champions for speaking & writing opportunities, press & analyst interviews, references, etc. 

  • Manage customer engagement events like the certification program and user groups. 

  • Own customer review program - managing vendor relationships, promotional campaigns, and reporting metrics. 

  • Help LaunchDarkly meet marketing and revenue objectives through customer advocacy initiatives.

About You:

  • Strong desire to serve, educate, and advocate for customers.

  • Your curiosity, flexibility, and creativity are applied to various marketing tactics and campaigns. 

  • Self-starter attitude, empathy and motivation to help you build and improve cross-functional and customer relationships. 

  • Proven track record creating and delivering marketing campaigns and programs that drive customer engagement and advocacy.

Bonus points if you also:

  • Analytical skills to determine effectiveness and ROI of customer engagement activities. 

  • Familiarity with B2B marketing in the DevOps space.

  • Previous customer service, customer success, account management experience, or any other experience collaborating with the revenue organization

Specific Requirements:

  • Must be authorized to work in the US (no visa sponsorship / relocation)

  • Minimum 3 years work experience
