We’re looking for a writer with a talent for distilling technical concepts into clear, concise, and engaging content. At the same time, this person must effectively maintain our voice, articulate our vision, and communicate our values. Your audiences will be CTOs, engineers (developers) and Engineering leadership, product managers, and others involved in software delivery. Your work will touch a variety of channels across the marketing department, from blog copy to website, email, and social copy. We are looking for a passionate learner: someone who strives to continuously improve their understanding of our industry.

You'll join a small team from companies like Atlassian, Intercom, and GitHub, and you'll have an immediate impact with our product and customers.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain our brand voice, keeping it consistent across LaunchDarkly marketing and company materials.
- Manage our blog program—this entails managing the blog calendar, editing blog posts for grammar and style consistency, writing original blog posts, and publishing final blog posts to our content management system.
- Act as the editor-in-chief of the blog.
- Work closely with the Content Marketing Manager on writing and editing projects as well as creating the editorial calendar.
- Manage and maintain a continuous stream of content emphasizing LaunchDarkly’s features and benefits, blending your own writing with work from the product marketing and product delivery teams.
- Work with the marketing team to craft public-facing messaging and copy.
- Write original copy and edit content for a range of corporate marketing and communications materials.
- Work closely with teams to promote LaunchDarkly content via email marketing campaigns, ads, and social media.
- Collaborate with relevant stakeholders across the marketing family from concept development to delivery of the final product.
Basic Qualifications:
- 2+ years of professional writing and editing experience
- Strong writing and editing skills
- A sensitivity to nuanced tone and meaning
- Excellent grammar
- Familiarity with tone and concepts in B2B SaaS
- Ability to learn complex subjects quickly
- Proficiency in Google Suite
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in writing social media copy
- Experience in working with a brand and design team
