Job Description

The Sales Compensation Analyst will be responsible for the timely and accurate process of calculating all company-wide variable compensation. We are looking for a highly organized, self-motivated individual who has a proven capability of prioritizing multiple responsibilities while meeting strict goals and deadlines. You must have strong communication and analytical skills, a drive for detail and accuracy, be team oriented, have confidence in collaborating with colleagues at all organizational levels and have the desire to learn about the world of Sales Compensation.
 
Responsibilities:
· Calculate variable compensation for multiple business channels in accordance to approved compensation plans and internal policies, ensuring variable compensation calculations are done accurately and in a timely manner;
· Complete recurring & ad hoc manual tasks for processes not systematically automated;
· Maintain and verify accuracy of payments and statements by working cross-functionally to ensure accuracy;
· Work with Payroll on meeting reporting and payroll deadlines;
· Communicate commission changes/corrections in a timely manner to the Payroll team;
· Provide phone, email and system support related to commission questions and issues;
· Review monthly and quarterly compensation payments, confirm commission calculations by reconciling data to source systems;
· Maintain compensation system by performing a variety of data inputs and ensuring the accuracy of processes by analyzing data outputs;
· Understand multiple internal divisions of business to research, analyze, and resolve potential issues;
· Perform validation and data quality checks on both system data and compensation calculation results;
· Identify and research inconsistencies to determine root causes and offer proposals for remediation;
· Suggest, implement and test system enhancements as needed;
· Coordinate and complete additional projects as requested;
· Provide support and ad hoc reports for business and senior leadership;
· Build and maintain annual compensation plan models
· Track and report on the status of plan acceptance to ensure compliance and timeliness
· Develop processes and procedures to enhance efficiencies and reduce risk of error;
· Work with business leaders, Human Resources and Payroll on new or updated commission plans;
· Support ad hoc projects and report requests as needed
 
Minimum Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required (Accounting, Finance or related field)
· 3+ years of Finance, Accounting, Sales Compensation, or Sales Operations experience working in a fast-paced, business environment
· Proven relationship building and problem-solving abilities
· Excellent communication and people skills
· Detail oriented with strong analytical and organizational skills
· Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion
· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
