About UserLeap

Actionable insights to grow SaaS revenue.

Job Description

At UserLeap, our mission is to help product teams create the best products possible.

UserLeap is the first continuous research platform that bridges the gap between traditional user research and analytics.

Through a combination of contextual microsurveys and AI-based text analysis, UserLeap helps product and research teams uncover customer needs at scale. The result is that teams are able to deliver exceptional product experiences, stay ahead of the competition, and meet customer needs even as they continue to evolve.

The Business Development Representative will be the first person to introduce the benefits of UserLeap to some of the largest customers of tomorrow. You’ll learn about the product and understand the unparalleled value that it can provide to enterprise customers. You’ll have a budget and supporting resources to craft a strategy for engaging and cultivating future customers. With the team at your back you’ll action your strategy, introducing UserLeap to hundreds of new accounts, and work strategically to understand their current challenges and how UserLeap can help. When the time is right, you’ll partner with our account executives to help guide customers to the plan that is right for them.

As a Business Development Representative, you love reaching out to and engaging with stakeholders at large enterprises. You know the tactics to get their attention and you have a fundamental understanding of the strategic problems they face. Most importantly, you are a self-starter who thrives with minimal oversight. You are excited by the target in front of you and are motivated to meet and exceed it.

About the Role:

  • Develop the pipeline for outbound sales
  • Own lead generation and relationship development for a core segment of UserLeap’s business
  • Develop an awareness and activation strategy with specific tactics to introduce potential customers to the benefits of UserLeap
  • Partner closely with account executives to provide a seamless experience to future customers
  • Develop a deep knowledge of UserLeap’s products to engage in meaningful conversations with target accounts
  • Develop hypotheses and test out tactics to determine the best ways to reach customers

About You:

  • 3-4+ years experience as an SDR or BDR, preferably in a SaaS platform software
  • Demonstrated ability to cultivate relationships and develop leads
  • Experience in enterprise level sales cycles and coordinated handoffs to account executives
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and regularly exceed qualified lead generation targets
  • Experience demonstrating value of tech, software, or SaaS products
  • Comfort and experience with variety of tactics, e.g., events, direct mail, social media, targeted ads, direct outreach, networking, etc. to develop new leads
  • Combine strategic mindset to create a plan of action and the hustle to execute and iterate when needed
  • Team player who works collaboratively to provide the best experience for customers

Benefits & Perks:

  • Competitive compensation and equity package
  • Generous medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • 401k program
  • 21 PTO days per calendar year + sick days when you need it
  • Free daily catered lunch (when in office)
  • Free public transit
  • Work from home equipment stipend
  • Fun company parties and events
  • Autonomy to make decisions in a rapidly growing environment
