Job Description

As the Senior Agile coach, you'll work with our product, engineering and design teams to evolve our Agile culture, setting the template for how each team performs. You'll set strong foundations on which JustPark can continue to scale, adding more feature crews as business needs grow

You'll design the baseline of a process of how we should be working and implement to become BAU. But this isn't just about process and documentation. As well as setting up the Agile structure, you'll coach our team of 30 across Engineering, Product and Design to ensure they not only follow the new processes but that they develop the skills and knowledge to be able to continue to improve it moving forward.

As an excellent communicator and facilitator, you'll get to the heart of any problem. You'll build trust and credibility with our team to enable you to ask the right questions, and lead our team through a period of change and transition.

Deliverables in the role

  • Develop agile standards and processes to ensure that various teams across the department follow a common way of working
  • Coach and mentor agile teams in the methodology to make each team self-sufficient and able to keep improving themselves
  • Define the measurement system with relevant metrics so that the department is clear on how it’s performing and where things can improve
  • Evangelise the Agile approach, both within the department and across the business, so that the company is engaged and bought into change

Requirements

About you

  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies including Scrum and Kanban
  • Experience of coaching Agile teams during the scaling phase in a software/technology business
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Pragmatic and flexible, able to understand the needs of the business and synthesize feedback from our teams
  • Servant leader mentality; able to influence people towards a common goal
  • Pragmatic; not dogmatic about a specific process or way of doing things

Benefits

Contract duration: 6 months

This role falls outside IR35.
