Job Description

Located 30 minutes outside of Boston, Desktop Metal (NYSE: DM) is pioneering a new generation of additive manufacturing technologies focused on the production of end-use parts. We offer a portfolio of integrated additive manufacturing solutions for engineers, designers and manufacturers comprised of hardware, software, materials and services. Our solutions span use cases across the product life cycle, from product development to mass production and aftermarket operations, and they address an array of industries, including automotive, aerospace, healthcare, consumer products, heavy industry, machine design and research and development.  At Desktop Metal, we believe additive manufacturing, commonly referred to as 3D printing, is one of the most exciting and transformational technology innovations of our time.

We are hiring a Sales Support Specialist to manage day to day sales activities for a rapidly growing sales team. If you thrive in a fast pace environment and have interest in working in sales, this job is for you. 

Role and Responsibilities: 

  • Provide high quality support to a global sales team, including regional account managers, key account managers, resellers and operations 
  • Monitor and update sales orders for accurate SFDC entry and efficient order booking 
  • Compile and organize reseller agreements and maintain territory maps 
  • Work with Sales Managers to distribute leads to external partner network 
  • Troubleshoot partner portal requests, adjust reports and assignment process when needed 
  • Perform data entry to provide key metrics, sales figures and other relevant data 
  • Track price list changes and inform necessary parties; support sales team with quote generation 
  • Identify areas where improvement is needed in sales practices and make suggestions for improvements 
  • Create solutions to ensure an efficient sales process and ensure a seamless experience for customers, partners, and sales managers  

Competencies: 

  • 2 years' experience in a sales supporting role 
  • Strong working knowledge of Salesforce.com  
  • Self sufficient 
  • Exceptional time management 
  • Customer needs oriented  
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask and prioritize 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an attention to detail
