Honor is looking for a talented Senior Counsel, Corporate/Transactions to join its growing legal department. You will provide legal support for the Company’s corporate and financing transactions, working closely with the Growth and Finance teams as well as other colleagues in the legal department on a wide variety of deals.

About the work:

  • Provide legal support for a wide variety of transactions and other corporate matters, including strategic partnerships, acquisitions and financings 
  • Work closely with cross-functional leaders to analyze and execute transactions and other commercial initiatives 
  • Conduct due diligence
  • Prepare and lead negotiation of transactional documents
  • Oversee outside counsel
  • Remain up-to-date on relevant laws and industry standards 
  • Work with colleagues to take into account the impact of regulatory compliance on all transactions

About you:

  • Strong academic credentials 
  • 10+ years of experience in corporate law and transactions
  • Bar admission in good standing 
  • Experience managing others a plus
  • Experience working in a regulated industry a plus
  • Significant hands-on experience in a wide variety of transactions
  • Sound judgment and strategic thinking
  • Deep understanding of the company’s operational and business model
  • Skilled negotiator
  • Ability to work in a collegial manner with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at once and follow through to meet deadlines
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Embracing of the 24/7 nature of home care
