As the Director of Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) you will report directly to the Chief Security Officer as part of the leadership team. your focus will be elevating the GRC program by ensuring alignment of Policies, Risks, and Compliance to business objectives. As a member of the leadership, your insights, experiences, and opinions will be valuable in shaping the overall security and privacy programs.     • Be an essential member of the Security Leadership Team, helping shape overall strategy
    • Lead and grow the Governance, Risk, & Compliance (GRC) team to design, implement, and continuously improve programs to address key company risks and prepare internal teams for independent assessments against regulatory and compliance frameworks
    • Manage Security Policy, Risk Management (including Vendor Security), Privacy and our security audits
    • Champion GRC initiatives by building deep, collaborative relationships with cross-functional leaders throughout the organization
    • Manage Security Policy, Privacy, Risk Management (including Vendor Security), and our security audits
    • Guide the Team in maturing and maintaining the Risk Register and Security Control Library in our GRC system.
    • Lead the team in integrating audit testing with the Control Library, capturing on-going control effectiveness feedback for risk assessments
    • Mature the Risk Management Program to produce strategic insight for security decisions.
    • Work with SMEs across the organization to mature/design security controls & mitigate risk
    • Perform product security assessments


    • Someone who is unafraid to share their thoughts and challenge current practices in order to make Clari better
    • 6+ years of experience building or operating programs to mitigate risks around security and privacy
    • 3+years of experience managing Risk & Compliance teams with a successful track record of building teams, mentoring, and developing talent
    • Extensive experience facilitating or guiding of ISO 27001 and SOC 2 audits at a fast-paced technology company or similar environment
    • A thorough understanding of technical concepts relevant to cloud computing environments: logical access control, agile development process, secure coding principles, security architecture, information security, network security, and privacy
    • Great people skills and an ability to work well in fast-paced team environment with a wide range of technical and non-technical teams
    • CISA, CISSP, CCSK, IAPP/E, IAPP/US or other professional certifications/associations a plus
    • Lead the implementation and ongoing improvement of security training and awareness initiatives to educate stakeholders regarding security risks
