What You'll Be Doing
- Responsible for managing the accounting for Divvy’s card receivables with a high level of accuracy
- Help to design efficiencies and process improvements including build-out of proper internal controls
- Interact with accounting managers, controller, and treasury team on a daily basis and assist with ad hoc projects as assigned
- Support the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes. Participate in process improvements to streamline the close process
- Maintain various account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and consistency of assigned general ledger accounts
- Ensure completeness and accuracy of all schedules used to prepare journal entries
- Assist in calculating and preparing capitalized software schedules. Work with product and engineering teams to complete the process.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of public accounting experiences or 4+ years of industry experience or a combination
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting Required
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with financial statements and ability to understand technical accounting concepts and topics
- CPA or at least CPA tracking
- Advanced Excel skills
- Must be a self-starter and deadline-driven to work in a fast-paced, high-growth company
- Willingness to work effectively within tight deadlines
To Stand Out!
- Understanding of database structures preferred
- SQL and Tableau knowledge a plus
- Financial services experience with a focus on card transactions preferred
