Over the three years since we launched, the Enterprise business has grown rapidly and now serves 2,500+ enterprises around the world. The Skills Transformation consulting team advises businesses, governments and universities on the skills of the future & helps them to use the Coursera content to develop their organization’s skills. In this individual contributor role you will be the resident technology expert in the EMEA consulting team. Working alongside our Sales and Customer Success teams, you will advise CTOs / CIOs and senior technology leads on the digital skills of the future and help them to design learning programmes to transform their businesses. 
 
In addition, you will help to influence Coursera’s go-to-market strategy (for tech buyers), develop thought leadership on future tech skills & support Coursera’s marketing activities (e.g. presenting at conferences / webinars etc.). As you contribute to building the technology capabilities of our consulting team, we will help you to learn about the broader skills of the future, so you can advise customers on other topics as well (e.g. business, data science, leadership and management etc.)

Responsibilities:

    • Be the technology expert in the Skills Transformation consulting team, acting as a senior advisor to business prospects / customers on tech skills of the future
    • Meet with prospects / customers, in partnership with our Sales and Customer Success teams, to translate their data learning needs into curricula on Coursera
    • Become an expert in Coursera’s course catalogue, in order to recommend the right Coursera courses to develop skills
    • Build the tech capabilities of the global Skills Transformation consulting team to scale our tech-related services
    • Influence Coursera’s go-to-market strategy (for tech buyers), develop thought leadership on tech skills & support Coursera’s marketing activities (e.g. conferences, webinars etc.)
    • Become an expert in the broader skills of the future (e.g. business, data science, leadership & management) to support a wide range of customer conversations

Basic Qualifications:

    • 7+ years of business experience with 4+ years of experience as an Software Engineer, Solutions Architect (in a tech related role), Technical Consultant, or Partner/Sales Engineer
    • Experience in software development / Enterprise Architecture frameworks (e.g. Cloud, Agile) / emerging technologies

Preferred Qualifications:

    • Deep interest in online education and an abiding belief in its ability to transform lives
    • Experience in client-facing roles (e.g. management consulting), particularly able to communicate with technical and business audiences / clients
    • Experience shaping strategy / supporting digital transformation
    • An ability to quickly become an expert in new topic areas like AI, data science & business
    • Strong executive presence and ability to present your work to external stakeholders including C-suite representatives 
    • Superior written and verbal communication skills
