Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain the necessary documentation for the practice leadership to understand the data elements, respective sources, predictive algorithms, and performance KPIs for all metrics
  • Own the empirical/analytical understanding of Relay’s customer behavior and business performance
  • Work with the Relay data team to merge, manage, analyze and extract data
  • Construct a dashboard to understand and communicate KPIs
  • Work with large, complex data sets. Solve difficult, non-routine analysis problems, applying advanced analytics methods as needed
  • Build and prototype analysis pipelines interactively to provide insights at scale
  • Present results and recommendations to leadership
  • Ability to communicate the results of analyses with product, tech and leadership to influence firm strategy
  • Research and develop analysis, forecasting and optimization methods to improve the quality of the Relay product
  • Define problems and opportunities in a complex or ambiguous area

Relevant Experience

  • Bachelors/Master’s Degree with 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Experience working in analytics
  • Understanding of statistics (hypothesis testing, regressions, etc.)
  • Experience with statistical software (e.g. Python, R) and database languages
  • Strong communicator with experience explaining technical concepts and analysis implications to varied audiences
  • Can translate business objectives into actionable analysis
