Job Summary: 

We are looking to hire a Data Analyst for a duration of a 12-month contract, with the potential to join a fast-growing company after the contract. You will take responsibility for owning the data analysis, curation and troubleshooting for sales, marketing and product experiments.

 

To do well in this role you need a good understanding of the ‘so what’ from data in addition to a fine eye for detail and experience in this role. Having a deep understanding of the popular data analysis tools and databases, including Pyramid is a bonus.

 

This role is based in Bristol or London.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Drive analysis for real business decisions, problems and assess results for campaigns
  • Interpret data, analyse results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports
  • Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality
  • Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems
  • Identify, analyse, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
  • Prepare Daily, Weekly and Monthly KPI and MIS reports
  • Work with management to prioritize business and information needs
  • MIS preparation, Data Analysis & Dashboarding
  • Provide ongoing support in the design and execution new sales tactics, strategies and campaigns
  • Effectively collaborate with other teams to cultivate resources necessary to execute
  • Solve problems and answer questions using data skills

 

Preferred Skills, Knowledge & Experience

  • Advanced SalesForce.com skills
  • Advanced SQL skills
  • Advanced Excel & VBA skills
  • Vlookup, Hlookup, Pivot Table, Charts, Nested If, Countif, Countifs, Sumif, Sumifs, Sum product, Index, Match, Conditional Formatting, Slicer etc.
  • Python coding experience
  • Experience in data visualization tools such as Pyramid

 

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years experience in Data analysis or consulting
  • Bachelors in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management or Statistics
