Job Description
Within delegated structure, the tutors will be responsible for the following duties:
- Join training to get full understanding of the objectives, workflow, and evaluation of the project
- Coordinate the design and development of the learning plan for the curriculum given by the curriculum team to support the production process
- Produce whiteboard videos as a supporting guide for animation production
- Coordinate the design and development of animation script based on the whiteboard videos
- Performs other related duties as required and coordinated by corresponding parties
Minimum Qualifications
Competencies Professional:
- Knowledge and understanding of Indonesian elementary school curriculum
- Ability to develop learning plan for given learning goals and specifications
- Ability to cater explanations of given learning goals through on-line methods
- Ability to deliver class/explanations through whiteboard videos for given learning goals and specifications
- Ability to do explain and engage children with storytelling
- Collaborative, cooperative, and well-mannered to establish and maintain effective relationships and work environment with members of other divisions, e.g. curriculum team, product, and tech
- Knowledge and ability to use various electronic internet sources and databases
- Ability to apply judgment in the context of assignments given, plan own work and manage conflicting priorities
- Creativity and out-of-the-box thinking to deliver learning by utilizing creative learning media other than just whiteboard (papers, using 3D tools, etc)
Communication:
- Speaks and writes clearly and effectively in both English and Bahasa Indonesia
- Listens to others, correctly interpret messages from others and responds appropriately
- Inquisitive
- Ability to empathize and communicate well with children (especially elementary school kids)
- Demonstrate openness in sharing information and keeping people informed
Education and Work Experience Tutors:
- Bachelor degree on mathematics or mathematics education
- Minimum one year of experience designing lesson plans for elementary students
- Minimum one year of in-classroom teaching experience to elementary students
Languages:
- Fluency in Indonesian language and active communication in English
