If you’re looking for a fantastic place to kick start your career, look no further than OFX! Currently, in our Private Dealing team, we have a vacancy for a Client Manager – Consumer (FX Client Dealer).

 

Working with our Private Client Team, you’ll have the opportunity to provide high quality professional service to our private clients. Key responsibilities include contacting new clients, booking and confirming foreign exchange transactions, handling client enquiries both online and by phone and advising clients on FX market movements.

 

What you’ll be doing

  • Deliver unparalleled customer service at all times, using your excellent interpersonal skills to build rapport with prospective and existing customers
  • Promote customer conversions by selling the benefits of OFX service compared to that of its competitors
  • Accurately price and book foreign exchange transactions, utilising skills of negotiation where necessary
  • Make relevant foreign exchange product recommendations to customers by recognising their own needs
  • Be responsible for converting online registrations into new dealing clients to deliver revenue opportunities – following up by phone or email as required
  • Work diligently towards an AFMA dealer accreditation
  • Manage call and email volumes whilst delivering outcomes within specific timeframes
  • Accurately and comprehensively record all information obtained on phone calls
  • Act as an ambassador for, and promote the best interests of OFX at all times, including the promotion of OFX company values

 

What you’ll bring

Qualifications

  • HSC/year 12 graduate or equivalent
  • Degree qualified in a Finance or Business-related discipline is an advantage

 

Knowledge, skills, experience

  • Existing exposure to the banking/finance sector is desired, but not essential
  • Excellent communicator, with sound numerical skills
  • Integrity, flexibility, reliability, and an excellent work ethic
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to perform multiple tasks with exceptional time management skills
  • Ability to build effective internal and external relationships
  • Proven experience selling a service is an advantage
