At Styra we are creating a new category of services designed to help businesses take control of their cloud operations. We empower people and software to make reliable authorization decisions in dynamic, complex, and large-scale environments with tools that provide direct, real-time visibility and control over applications and infrastructure. Styra is the company behind the extremely fast-growing Open Policy Agent (OPA) open source project – we deliver industry-leading SaaS software, built on OPA, for cloud-native environments.

 

Styra is hiring our first coordinator in the Operations team! The ideal candidate will have an eye for detail and be highly organized, personable, and energetic. Working closely with the Operations Manager, you will create an amazing employee experience in support of our people and continually look for ways to improve our processes. Every day in this role will be different.

 

What You Will Do:

  • Provide critical support and coordination for recruiting, including scheduling candidate interviews and keeping the applicant tracking system up to date
  • Assist with employee onboarding process to make sure they are set up for success on their first day
  • Manage the ordering of equipment, member gifts, and company swag
  • Co-own all company culture initiative (i.e. volunteering programs, monthly company events, milestone celebrations)
  • Participate in social impact initiatives
  • Expense reconciliation and other purchasing support
  • Project support on company initiatives as needed

 

Must-Have:

  • Organized and detail-oriented. You’re able to track various tasks from different projects and ensure nothing gets lost.
  • Self-starter with strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to handle highly sensitive and confidential matters with discretion
  • Collaborative and flexible style, with a passion for change and continuous improvement
  • Willingness to pitch in wherever help is needed
  • Proficient with Google Suite

 

Nice-to-Have:

  • Experience in a high growth startup environment
  • Familiarity with Slack, Sequoia One, LinkedIn Talent Hub, and Expensify
