We are:
Wix’s IT Engineering team. We’re responsible for defining the system architecture of Wix, and developing and innovating enterprise solutions to fit Wix needs. We design network and security standards, and maintain our global infrastructure. We’re also responsible for the design, development, and operation of security services and components across Wix.
You are:
A Security Engineer with 7+ years of experience in a large enterprise environment. You have strong networking foundations (TCP/IP, DNS, Load-balancers, network security), a solid understanding of technologies and protocols like LDAP, DNS, PKI, IdP brokering and federation, and experience with at least one major cloud platform such as AWS, GCP or Azure.
You also have experience with SSO solutions such as RH-SSO, Okta, Google SAML and Azure Authentication, and your knowledge and expertise includes software development methodologies, corporate security data and Zero-Trust solutions.
You have a good understanding of web application vulnerabilities, application authentication and authorization protocols, application security methodologies, secret management, PKI and SSL/TLS. You’re self- motivated and you possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Development experience in Java, Python, GoLang, NodeJS and experience with Docker, K8s or other container-based technologies are advantages.
You’ll also get bonus points if you have experience with automation/configuration management using tools like Terraform, Ansible or an equivalent, and an understanding of the CI/CD methodology and version controlling.
As a Senior Security Engineer, you will:
- Design and develop security applications on top of device management
- Design and implement different kinds of authentication sequences
- Design and implement AI models on top of operation data
- Assists with the execution of architecture blueprints and bring security into a DevOps mindset and culture
- Collaborate with product teams to support the evaluation of planned changes and to minimize security risks
- Provide advice on security issues and contribute to the development of different projects and products
- Drive the development of new security capabilities to support delivery and ensure that the tools and approaches used are effective
